  • A HIGH level of interest in Web Enterprise System Development and proven focus in the software development industry.
  • Working knowledge of one or more of the current programming languages, database languages and tools:

    • Database Languages: SQL, UDB, DB2, UML
    • Business Intelligence Languages: Business Objects, Cognos
    • ETL tools: Datastage, Informatica
    • Others Beneficial Technologies: Sharepoint,
  • Latitude candidates will have a work history related to the field of software development, Ecommerce, or enterprise wide systems.
  • Candidates will be required to have a working knowledge of software development lifecycle and web applications.
  • Candidates must be flexible to travel and work at client sites.

Pluses are:

  • Practical experience in Project Management, Business Analysis, DBA, or QA with such technologies as; Java, J2EE, .Net, VB .Net, ASP.Net, C++, C#, SQL, UDB, DB2, UML
  • Experience developing Use Cases, knowledge of Client/Developer Liaison activities, the ability to prove your analytical skills in relation to enterprise wide system.

  • Custom web-based application development of learning, business intelligence, and other solutions
  • Work on development team for Latitude’s commercial learning management system
  • Developing Use Cases
  • Client/Developer Liaison activities
  • Designing the implementation road map and direction of a project.
  • High level software design
  • Develop, Test, and debug software modules,
  • Set up and configure development environment.
  • Set up unit test. Develop unit test scripts.

Travel:  Must be willing to live within daily commuting distance of SE Michigan (Current project site: Howell). Possible travel for future projects -- those who are willing to travel locally get first priority.

 

Estimated Start Date:  ASAP 

 

Overview:  Initially working on Client LMS project - general development work.  Maybe building front end, PDF's, coding business logic, etc. New dev is primarily in C#.NET.  Req’s gathering already completed -- need strong developer with good deal of experience to implement.  Not necessarily BA skills (double-check with Dave); just strong development.

 

Required Skills:  Well-rounded .NET developer, 3-7 years experience, Microsoft .net, c# preferred, prefer long-term hire

 

Plus Skills:  Java certification, DB2 certification, Experience on Unix systems, Business Objects Reporter or Designer, 5-7 Years Experience in Java required

 

Soft Skills:  Broad experience, problem-solving skills, strong troubleshooting ability.  Good verbal and written communication; client-facing skills a must.
