Requirements

BS in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field.

The ideal candidate for this position has a strong orientation to problem solving and technical challenge and unique blend of personal skills (sociability and aggressiveness). Candidate should be self-motivated and possess good organizational skills.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Data auditing and maintenance of quality control standards for Client databases and algorithms.

Data / Process conversion from mainframe environment to SQLServer / Windows based environment.

Develop, update, and maintain work instructions/documentation for client processes in ISO standard format.

Develop, update, and maintain utility programs.

Maintenance of databases.

Maintain a positive client relationship.

Create and produce high quality special project deliverables resulting from ad-hoc customer requests on schedule and within budget.

Extract, manipulate, and analyze data using company software Microsoft Excel, Access, and SQL Server.

Qualifications:

Entry level candidates to be considered if they possess the required technical and educational qualifications.

Extremely strong attention to detail.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple concurrent tasks.

Ability to work in multiple computer OS environments.

Programming experience (Visual C++/Microsoft Foundation Class, Visual Basic) required

Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills, interpersonal skills (sociability and assertiveness) and project management skills

required.

Knowledge of relational databases. Microsoft Access and/or SQL Server knowledge required.

Strong PC windows skills, in depth knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products.

GIS software knowledge a plus.

Automotive experience a plus.

Education:

Bachelor degree Computer Science or related field, Business concentration a plus.

Windows 2000/XP, SQL, SQL Server, Access, Excel, Word, and other applications are desired.
