Software Engineer

Relocation is not available for this position.

Jetrion, a subsidiary of EFI, is looking for a Software Engineer with 3+ years of professional software development experience on the Windows platform.  This individual will contribute to the development of new systems and troubleshoot and support existing products.

The essential technical skills are:

• Excellent understanding of C/C++ as well as Object Oriented Design
• Must have product development experience using MFC, Multitheading APIs, XML and .NET technologies. Experience with VB would be beneficial but not essential.
• Experience of the following is desired; relational database design, knowledge of communication protocols and their applications.
• Must have experience with turn-key software deployment in the field.
• Some experience in one or more of the following technologies: Printing, Graphics, Networking, Client Server.
• Must have experience in software configuration management to allow full development tracking and traceability.
• Familiarity with inkjet technologies and embedded systems would be advantageous.
• At least two years supervisory/management experience preferable, but not a requirement.
• Knowledge of ladder logic and PLC-based system control.

Educational Requirements:
M.S. in Computer Science (or B.S. plus relevant work experience)
