Upgrade to VS 2005 Team Foundation

Ok, so my company is taking the plunge.
So it is now my job to order / install configure / develop on VS 2005 Team Foundation. I can't wait. I am soo looking forward to this. We are using VS 2003.

I am in the process of getting quotes and hopefully getting the best price. Is it just me or is Microsoft's licensing policy extremely confusing. So far it looks like we suggested to purchase MSDN Premium subscriptions for each of our developers (5 right now).

Does anyone have any "gotchas" that I should know about? Or how did your upgrade from VS 2003 to VS 2005 go?

I know it isn't the answer you are looking for, but my answer is "You don't."

Configure a subversion server and trac and cruise control.net.

I don't see the point in Team Foundation Server unless you work on a team of a certain size.

Everlast,
You are the second person to tell me this. it seems like every one is using subversion. I guess its time for us to jump on the bandwagon.

Re: Upgrade to VS 2005 Team Foundation

We thought about going to Team Foundation server, but it is too expensive. We have about 6 developers now. So we are looking into VS 2005 (with the SA and MSDN Permium subscription). That why I was planning to use Source Safe, because it came free with MSDN. We'll see which way we go.

Hopefully this works out well.
