(relocation oppt) Senior Applications Programmer

Responsible for:
Programming and application development using industry standard Client-Server and Web technologies that support business objectives and priorities; Maintaining and implementing enhancements to department systems according to Sodexho IS&T standards, including software and tools; Providing 24x7 on-call technical support for mission critical enterprise applications; Working with Help Desk and Q&A teams in user acceptance testing and sign-off' Sharing technical and applications functionality knowledge with other team members, business users and senior management; Providing input into the effective uses of information systems services resources and technologies; and working with business representatives from corporate and field. This position requires a broad understanding of varying technologies available and the ability to translate functional requirements and create technical requirements for development of enterprise systems.

Requires:
. BS or BA in Information Systems, Computer Science or related course of study, a minimum of four years of applications programming experience, and a minimum of two years of web development experience.
. Development experience in the following areas: Microsoft .NET application development (C#, ASP.NET, XML, Web Services), Microsoft ASP, ActiveX controls, JavaScript, and Oracle v8/9 PL/SQL and Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005.

Prefer knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio (Visual Basic 6, C++), ColdFusion MX, J2EE Applications Servers (Jrun v3/4), and Java Swing Based application development (JBuilder, Jrun, XML, Web Services).

Buffalo, NY location. Salary up to 75K. (note lower cost of living in Buffalo, NY)
